How it began
Established 1949
Culberry Nursery was started in 1948 by the Jarvis family as a market garden growing vegetables for the London markets. In 1949 they started growing mushrooms supplying local markets. This successfully continued for many years. Then in 1990 we saw the closing of the mushroom growing but we continued to sell compost.
